Thanks for the advice everyone. This is something we don't plan on
doing, but if worst came to worst, I would like to know if the client
would work.

issues with passwords. It seems that when a password field is set
it isn't decoded properly, so the next time the user record is
saved, the new, unknown password is saved to the record. Not sure

I wanted to know for a lot of the reasons Robert mentioned. I always
thought it was better to use an older client against a new server
(5.1.2
client against 6.3 server) not vice versa. Is this not true?
