All of my 5.1.2, 6.3, and 7.0 mid-tiers are running with 1.4.2_13, which has both the necessary security and the DST updates. Some folks have been able to get some versions of 1.5 to run, but not me. I am pretty sure 1.6 is completely unsupported at this time.
Christopher Strauss, Ph.D. Remedy Database Administrator University of North Texas Computing Center http://remedy.unt.edu/helpdesk/ _____ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pierson, Shawn Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2007 3:38 PM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: JDK version compatibility for the Mid-Tier ** Does anyone have a copy of the compatibility matrix for both 6.3 and 7.0 for the versions of the JDK that can run on the mid-tier? Since BMC's site is down I'm unable to verify that the updates our server team have installed are compatible with the Mid-Tier. They gave us Java 6 (1.6.0 I believe), which seems to be incompatible with Remedy, and when I downgraded to 1.5.11, it also appears to be incompatible. They really want to run version 6 since it's the current one, but I know Remedy tends to be a few versions behind on the JRE.
