We have received trial licenses from BMC for the ITSM 7 suite. We have managed to apply these licenses successfully to a test server we have just created. However, when we try to install Atrium CMDB 2.0.1 (as per the instructions in CMDB 7.0.1 installation guide, it reports that it is unable to find a valid BMC:Atrium CMDB Application license and halts the installation very early in the process. This trial license was added successfully to the ar server via the admin tool before we attempted the installation and it is valid until mid August. We also have a valid AR System multi server license applied. Does the Host ID for these trial ITSM licenses need to match an arserver name? - it doesn't currently. Does anyone have any experience with installing this using trial licenses?
