that's true. My point was that yes, you can open source critical and strategic software application products and still be financially successful. And Oracle Fusion is not exactly a product, it is better described as middle ware. At least that's how the Oracle folks describe it: the glue that ties everything together, so extremely strategic from that company's point of view
