Okay, so I got it working. Thanks for all the help guys. For future reference, if anyone is doing this in the future, here is the order of events that must take place for SQL Server if they are changing the password on your ARAdmin account:
Update the new password in the Remedy Administrator tool Have the DBA (or if you do it) change the password in the database Cycle remedy server (this step may or may not be necessary) This is the only order in which it seems to work, it's also the most logical if I would have just thought about it first :) Thanks, Gary Opela, Jr Sr. Remedy Developer Leader Communications, Inc. 405 736 3211 -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Grooms, Frederick W Sent: Friday, January 04, 2008 9:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Database password for ARAdmin account What DB are you using? Do I have to reinstall? I cannot log in with the admin tool (of course) to update it, so is there some metadata somewhere that can be updated?
