One note when applying the mid-tier patch. Be sure and copy your mid-tier directory and the prefetchconfig before you apply the patch. After applying the patch compare your new config.properties file to the backup in the mid-tier directory. I found I had to modify a few settings. I also had to put the prefetchconfig back as it was overwritten by the patch. You will only notice a problem with prefetchconfig if you have taken the time to implement the new prefetch feature available in 7.1.
