I don't really expect any replies, but you never know. I am attempting to install Help Desk 6.0 on a Japanese Win2k3/SQL2kSP4 server (Japanese OS and DB).
I can get AR Server installed ok, installing first in English to get the metadata populated, then doing an Upgrade to include the Japanese. Rebooting after every step is a must. The problem is that I can't get past that. If I try to install CMDB 1.0 (any patch) or 1.1 (any patch), the install (running ObjectStore.exe) doesn't get past the "Preparing Setup" screen before it terminates with a very cryptic, short, and unhelpful error message. It usually also corrupts the DB to the point where I have to re-install AR System before trying again.
