Is there any reason you cannot install the Japanese version itself right on the Japanese server without doing the English first? I know that when I was doing bug fixes for 7.5, everything was very touchy. I was working on some graphical items, and if I changed Japanese views and was not on a Japanese server, it corrupted the database. It shouldn't do that on version 6 I wouldn't think. Is there any firewalling s/w on the system, like McAfee?
