Yes, I've got that set up so that the user has to change their password as soon as they log in for the first time. It's working on the web but not the user tool. I haven't been able to check to see if the init form is being used (I'm pretty sure it's not) but I do have some workflow that's checking for the user's group, when the Home page opens.
