Hi Martin,

thanks for the response I tried using dblink using vendor form the main task is I have to show ARSystem 6.3 change tickets from 6.3 database there were like ton's of tickets there is no ARServer for it. I have to show them user for just read purpose only there were lots of tasks and attachments are there.Even though I have tried using view form it is throwing the timeout error because I have a view query is there any other approach to achieve this.

Why vendor form when you could do a DB link to Clarify (I think you meant
that?) instead of writing a database plugin?

Hi All,

using Vendor form can I query external database to User tool in clarity
we
have external data where user what to see some information from that
database. that external data can been see as a record in a regular form by
clicking a button in a table. The user should not modify or delete he can
only read it or query it ....does Vendor form satisfies this requirements.

Thanks
Gokul
