Suresh:

Your errors suggest that you are using ITSM at your site. If so, what version?

We started at ITSM 7.6.03 and are on 7.6.04 SP2 now. We've seen an
intermittent error similar to the one you mention in both versions of ITSM when
a user uses a template to fill out an incident ticket and then goes to save the
incident for the first time. In some of the cases, when we've gone back in to
look at the template, the Assigned Support Organization field has been blank.
In others, it hasn't, but the template triggers the error anyway. In both
cases, the fix has been to clear out the template's Assigned Support
Organization field if it is populated, save the template, then add the Assigned
Support Organization and Assigned Support Group back in and resave the
template. Testing has then shown the problem to be resolved. We've been able
to resolve every occurrence of this problem this way.

Regards and I hope you are able to resolve your problem,

Hi Suresh,

Can you check for any changes in this user's people profile.(Like login name
etc)
Also when you get this error, while submitting an incident or updating.

Thanks and regards,
Sulabh Gandhi
