They use the DMT Staging forms to perform validation against the data. You could investigate the use of these over a customisation. I have used these at a customer and you can add in LDAP Filters, etc, along with updating the AI Transformations to include additional steps such as applying defaults where Null or trimming long text fields etc. ________________________________ Kind Regards, Carl Wilson http://www.missingpiecessoftware.com/ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Hennigan, Sandra Sent: 27 February 2013 14:26 To: [email protected] Subject: Active Directory and People Records ** All, I am a one developer shop so without any sidekick to discuss with - Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise ARS 8.1 ITSM 8.1 Oracle 11g Goal: Remedy People Records need to be in sync with Active Directory (AD) I successfully configured ARDBC Created Vendor form Created People Staging form Created Escalation to push AD data from Vendor form to Staging form Question – The last time I configured ARDBC, Remedy used the SHR:People form so AD data went from the Staging form to SHR:People. For 8.1, should Staging form data be pushed directly to the CTM:People?
