Hi Kim

ACT2 works fine on my PC with the extra memory for java, as in the Artemis
FAQ. A couple of things:

* The exit/close/quit commands don't work, as if it is hanging (though
everything else about it is working), and I have to use Task Manager to exit
the programme.

* One of the most useful features of ACT is the ability to double click on
the blast match to align top and bottom sequences. This is really hard if
the match is somewhere downstream, and there is only a thin almost
horizontal line visible, and the only way is to unlock the sequences and try
to trace the match. Also, if there are more than match to a sequence it
would be useful to view them in an organized way. We wondered if, perhaps
by right-clicking on the gene, it would be possible to bring up:
- a list of the matches in the other genome that cover part of the gene
- you could automatically get alignment with the strongest match

Cheers
Neil
