I've stated my position in recent posts to the thread. Summary: there are no current plans to switching the primary repo from Google Code to Github, but I'm if Dan or anyone else wants to mirror it there that's fine. If the Github mirror were wildly popular, with users choosing it as their primary source repo, then we could revisit switching to Github.
