Great! I just wanted to check to make sure I wasn't overstepping. I'll go
ahead and push the git mirror I've created on my machine to GitHub.

I'll follow-up by setting up an automated job to keep it updated when
changes are detected in the Hg repo (I may be able to use GitHub hooks). It
might take me a few days to get it all completed and I'm open to advice on
the matter. Ideally, we'll get the computers doing the grunt work.

...as for what happens after that...I think we can just see how the
community responds. If nothing else, GitHub could be a good way to accept
patches via pull requests...even if they are downloaded and applied to the
Hg tree manually. A key value of GitHub in terms of contributions has just
been to have a place to discuss patches.

I don't think we need to solve the governance issue to start with a mirror.
Though, I do think we should continue to discuss what degree of change is
reasonable for AsciiDoc because it's getting more attention and that will
act as a driving force for change (as it always does). Change doesn't
necessarily mean syntax change, it could be contributions to docs, the test
suite, the API, etc.
