Agreed. Fortunately, we benefit from the AsciiDoc design here to rely on
attributes for all generated text.

Where AsciiDoc Py and Asciidoctor differ here is that AsciiDoc Py supports
a configuration file to store attributes whereas Asciidoctor does not yet
(see https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor/issues/566). Then again,
Asciidoctor provides an extension mechanism that would allow you to
implement this easily...so really what is missing is out of the box
behavior.
