I am truly sorry that I'm annoying you, that's certainly not intentional.
I appreciate your reply, and I hope you'll continue to help me, despite the
annoyance. I'm trying to be as detailed as possible.

I wasn't using the email interface, I was using the GUI list.

As per your instructions, I just tried 2 different ways via the email
interface without any removal being successful.

First using an admin email address, I sent a message to the remove address,
with no subject, with only:

scam...@gmail.com,*

in the body of the mail. That got me an email reply:

Whitelist Deletion Report received. Thank you for reporting.
scam...@gmail.com: *not on whitelist (at least your privat) - not removed*
Whitelist summary for : scam...@gmail.com The privacy level of the
Whitelist is currently: 'global & private(legacy)' scam...@gmail.com is not
on Whitelist (global) scam...@gmail.com,@OurCharity is not on Whitelist
(domain) scam...@gmail.com,m...@ourcharity.org is not on Whitelist (privat)

[fyi, it's spelled "private"]

I also emailed the removal address, with the subject "delete" and the same
body. I got the same reply.

It says it's not on the whitelist (not personal, not domain, and not
global), but the GUI reports otherwise. I can also see the listing of this
address in the whitelist when I do the (unrecommended) display of the whole
list from the GUI.

I don't know what I could be doing or what I have set that would prohibit
addresses from being removed from the whitelist no matter what I try.
Adding and then trying to remove using the addresstrans GUI, the lists gui,
and the email interface all have been unsuccessful.

Why would the list gui show whitelisted, but using the address
functionality of the GUI doesn't show it as such?
