I had them in there but I was still backing up mail on their servers. I tried added them to accept all mail but that circumvented my local addresses file. I'm just running without mail bagging at the moment until I can figure out what to do.

I agree - that's what it's there for. *If* you have to have MX secondaries that aren't protected by ASSP, you must put them in this list to bypass delaying, PBox and the rest. Otherwise you're treating them just like any other IP, and they can't then do their job.
