Thanks for answering to my original question. I see you changed the wording
in your web site now

Good to know. Because there is no license to pay to use and redistribute
assp.

Hmmm.. assp is not a product of Fritz.

Fritz (and we all appreciate his hard job) is a developer. But ASSP has many
important part of code provided by other programmers (my favorite feature,
and what I consider the magic of filtering in 2006 is graylisting, and that
has been provided by Przemek Czerkas), and ASSP is a project born a few
years ago.

Copyright of 1.3.1 (last version published on sourceforge) clearly reads :

# perl antispam smtp proxy
# (c) John Hanna, John Calvi, Robert Orso, AJ 2004 under the terms of the
GPL

Now I see this has changed in the newer betas for 1.3.2, but I still don't
know why.

I hope you will give back to the community more than just money to one
developer. ASSP is free open source software, so please contribute to the
assp project with your ideas, suggestions, part of codes etc. Hope you
understand the spirit of GPL, and that your experience can make assp better
for anyone, not only for the users that have it installed with your
commercial scripts.
