Bad dns - not the case. I checked, the two servers in /etc/resolv.conf are the ones supplied by our ISP. Bad bombRE - nope. Not a single bombRE is enabled. Bad assp.cfg file - quite possible, I'm new to ASSP. I put my config online at http://pastebin.com/m3fbae1d0, if anyone is willing to take a look for common errors.
I'll try out 1.3.5 on one of the two servers, with some luck it won't keep freezing on me :) -Garrett On Mar 5, 2008, at 11:53 PM, Fritz Borgstedt wrote: > >> I'm just running out of ideas, and I can't keep monitoring and >> rebooting servers forever... we all need vacation eventually :) > > the most common problems are: > > - bad dns > - bad bombre > - bad assp.cfg file > > > I recommend to switch to 1.3.5 > > http://www.magicvillage.de/~Fritz_Borgstedt/assp/S05F324B2?WasRead=1 > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft > Defy all challenges.
