Yes- it's a desktop, running Debian sarge and KDE, usually only used for
web browsing and textfile editing.  Since I work elsewhere during the day,
it generally has a load < 0.05.

Do you happen to know what sort of load do you see on it when it's
recording voicemail?  I was vaguely worried by some of the comments on
the voip-infor.org wiki, about load.
