If it's TCP/IP, then by extension it should work with *any* version of *any* system that also supports TCP/IP. There are all kinds of "undefined" areas and places for interop to break due to misinterpretation. That's what testing and validation's all about. You can have two stacks that are both TCP/IP compliant yet break in odd little ways due to different (but not incorrect) interpretations of the RFC. -A.
