Chuck,

I haven't tried this but I suppose you could look at the recording
files and rename them so the voicemail app can't play them back. I
assume that if the playback fails, it would just continue to the beep.
They'll be easy to identify because the console displays the
filenames as they're being played.

Important: Obviously you can't rename files if they might be used by
some other application. For instance, if the message you want to
remove includes the "vm-no" file, then I wouldn't rename it because
that might be used elsewhere.

I'm sure there's a more elegant solution but this might win you some
points with the client in the near term.

Well, it's official... People hate the automated attendant.

A client received a bunch of complaints that they think the voicemail
system doesn't sound professional.

I looked into it and it appears they're complaining about the fact that
the user hadn't recorded her voicemail greetings.

Anyways, the greeting is now recorded, but the "automated attendant"
kicks in after the greeting... Is there a way to eliminate the automated
attendant from kicking in after the personalized voicemail greeting?
Customer wants her gone.

Any quick solutions... else, I'll just tell him that's the way it works.

Regards,

Chuck
