Bell does do Call Forward Busy/No Answer. They just don't advertise it, and their CSRs might not even know about it.
It's part of their IVMS system and exists to permit third party answering services. At $2.63 for business lines it's pretty cheap too. The problem I'm having with them at the moment is on a microlink line where they can't seem to turn off call waiting. Which makes Call Forward Busy kind of pointless. The No Answer option eventually takes over and routes the call to our Voip Line. But only after 5 rings and a bunch of beeps on the existing call. Anyone know the magic words to use with Bell to kill call waiting? To the best of my memory, Bell will not do call forward busy, and we have to move their line somewhere else. Last time we did this, we sent it to Primus and it was a real hassle... 4 weeks and a lot of administration overhead to make it work. Is there an easier way, or a better process?
