I can GUARANTEE you that it will not be adequate for a production business environment. NOTE: Using it so your kids can have their own extensions in their bedrooms is NOT a production business environment. How do I know. Because I KNOW that you get what you pay for especially for telco gear. The biggest issue I see is echo cancellation. At that price you will basically get none. They probably have "something" they call hardware echo cancellation but I'm sure it's not really doing much. You should NEVER give in to the temptation of going for the cheap stuff. It will almost always cost you more in time, money, headaches, and ultimately abandoning it and buying more expensive gear etc. Just my 2 cents.

Bottom line is, I would like to hear from others who have tried a couple FXO solutions what their experiences have been with the options they tried ... I need to make a decision on this one in the next few days ... I am also interested in hearing arguments about the pros/cons of using an external gateway instead of a PCI card ... your opinions are valued ...
