Well, I thought long and hard ... Listened to the arguments folks presented ... And went ahead and got me a Sangoma card for this time around ... I may still want to have a look at the Rhino later once they have hardware echo cancellation but the hit for this darn Sangoma card was hard enough that it will take a while for me to recover ... So it will certainly be after the first of the year before I buy another one ...
Now the next item on the agenda, is how the heck am I going to get the darn thing to work with Astlinux 0.4.4 when I understand the drivers for the card are not there yet ... Anyone been through doing a custom build of 0.4.4 to support a Sangoma A20101D ??? How tough is it ???? This is a new card for me so I am kinda hoping maybe a couple of you folks who have some experience with it will have mercy on me and maybe give me few pointers ...
