Darrick,
I don't do my own builds.  My priority is to get some experience with
asterisk 1.4.  I feel that staying with AstLinux in its' current state is
holding me back from progressing in my knowledge of Asterisk.  The thing
that's held me so far is the embedded architecture and the ease with which
I'm able to use AstLinux as my home router.

I'm not as interested in the runnix aspects of the project, although I do
agree we need something that's easier to upgrade.  If I had a vote, it would
be to deliver 1.4 sooner than later in an official release.  With or without
runnix.
