Hello

I wanted to change the root password by connecting to the AstLinux box, but
I get the following error:

==========
# passwd
Changing password for root
New password:
Retype password:
passwd: cannot update password file /etc/shadow
==========

FWIW, here's more information:

==========
# ll /etc/shadow
-rw-------    1 root     root          149 Feb 20 13:29 /etc/shadow
==========
# cat /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Protocol 2
Port 22
ListenAddress 0.0.0.0
PermitRootLogin yes

Subsystem       sftp    /usr/sbin/sftp-server
Banner /etc/issue.net
==========

Is it some protection on the server? Do I need to do this by connecting to
the console directly?

Thank you.
