I logged a request with Digium in early May (see below), just wondering if
anyone else has logged and had a similar response or hopefully something a
little more positive

Unfortunately it seems that we have not compiled any of our 1.4 codecs against
uClibc. From what I understand, there were no plans to do so either. I will
keep an eye out and I will let you know if there is any change to those plans."
