Darrick

Could you clarify if there is a bug in the area of using a USB keydisk
with Unionfs.

I have written a 0.6.1 image to a device, fitted a clean USB stick, then
after reboot run
genunion /dev/sda1

I reply yes (twice) to the script. I get no errors. However after
rebooting I try to change the root password and I get
'passwd: cannot update password file /etc/shadow.'

If I start over again and instead use fdisk/genunion on /dev/hda2 rather
than using the USB stick - it works fine.

It seems like there is a problem here or, that there is something I need
to tweak to get things to work.

Help please.
Thanks
Mart
