Darrick, I reverted back to the asturo=auto and asturw=auto and tried
pbx ~ # findfs LABEL=ASTURW and received the error that the label was not found. Leaving it as asturo=/dev/hdc2 asturw=/dev/hdc2, literally "broke" Asterisk, as asterisk could not be started. I am now reverting back to 0.4.8, and seeing if it works from there. I have written a 0.6.1 image to a device, fitted a clean USB stick, then after reboot run genunion /dev/sda1 I reply yes (twice) to the script. I get no errors. However after rebooting I try to change the root password and I get 'passwd: cannot update password file /etc/shadow.' If I start over again and instead use fdisk/genunion on /dev/hda2 rather than using the USB stick - it works fine. It seems like there is a problem here or, that there is something I need to tweak to get things to work. Help please. Thanks Mart Darrick Hartman wrote: > Clara, > > As long as you followed along and let genunion (and optionally genkd) > create the file systems, you can safely leave 'asturw=auto'.
