I am looking through xbmc.log and it is in fact showing:

Loading: libcurl.so.4
ERROR: Unable to load libcurl.so.4, reason: libcurl.so.4: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
DEBUG: Dll libcurl.so.4 was not found in path

So I am going to try to grab a non svn build.

Hopefully it will work.

I was hope for an XBMC build that would support the CHD chip.
