I don't care for Fostex. Never have. The Visaton B200 is a whole different animal. I listen to a variety of music from solo acoustic guitar to big band to classical to reggae to blues to bluegrass to hard rock at levels exceeding 100db. EVERYTHING sounds good on my A8s provided the recording is good. Midrange as smooth as a baby's bottom. Among the most articulate speakers I've ever heard, and I've heard a bunch. These ain't your daddy's single drivers.
