I used a Yamaha CDX-1060 before I got my squeezebox. Not really high-end, but it has a pleasing presentation. I am now listening to my SB2 with a home made PSU (a 5V/3A until similar to the Power One). I have now used the SB2 since november and it does sound more open to me now. If that is is imagination, the fact that it is broken in, or that the new firmware has done something, I am not sure.
