I've ripped everything to FLAC - iffy singles, wife's Cliff Richard collection, small person's Nursery Rhymes et al.
Why? Because often MusicIP or Random play will stumble across something that I wouldn't pick in a million years, and I'll think "That's actually quite good", or I'll hit the next track button.
