Is it possible I get a better sound from my flac's off my computer than if I play the CD's in a CD-payer directly? Even if I use an external DAC for both methods my flac's seem to sound a wee bit better than my CD's!
I'm wondering if the extra work EAC goes through to get a perfect rip results in a better extraction than playing a CD "on-the-fly". Is that possible?
