There's always a wrinkle.  I'll call Apple technical support and ask
them about the sound card today.  I'll call Bel Canto, too, since they
support USB, and ask their take on it.  Of course they will have a bias
toward their product, sure, but I've owned their products and spoken
with them many times.  They're honest people.
