Just to be clear about gaps ... the point is NOT that you want gaps to
be removed - you want them to be preserved so that when you play the
album through you get the same pattern of gaps (or no gaps) as on the
original CD.  My only point was that there is a setting in EAC to
change what it does with the inter-track gap which might have made a
small difference to file sizes, sorry for any confusion.
