in slightly unrelated news ....in an effort to test the behaviour of HDCD material on WMP10, I inserted the very same 'Madeleine Peyroux - Walking After Midnight' track containing CD into a MacBook running WinXP Pro under Parallels .... I shouldn't have expected any different ... but NO HDCD logo regardless of whether the 24 bit out option was selected or not .... back to my Dell Laptop ... and the HDCD ligh comes on ... but only when the 24 bit button is unchecked .... this is driving me nuts
