I used a Nuendo Steinberg (RME 24/96) and an a M-Audio 24/96 PCI card and various cd players including Linn CD12 & Ikemi, Esoteric (I think it was a x-01 not totally sure) with & without a Chord DAC 64, a Naim CDs3 and the model before that and a dCS Elgar+Verdi (I think) - this was all a while ago... I'm not a big fan of upsampled CD's. I've yet to hear any concrete improvement in upsamplimg material from 44.1 to anything. I have a 96Khz upsampling DAC but run it at 44.1 - to me it sounds no different. Recording at 24/96 is clearly way better! -- Phil Leigh ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Phil Leigh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=85 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32993 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
