Are you comparing inverted polarity to no correction in inguz? When I do that there is no level boost, but inguz applies an overall gain adjustment to everything to avoid clipping, so if you're comparing inverted polarity with inguz to a plain track without inguz that's probably the reason.
Otherwise try inverting the speaker wires (a pain with triamplification, but that's life as an audiophile). If you still hear a level boost, you're either imagining things or you're playing very asymmetric signals and your speakers are horrible (very high levels of harmonic distortion could do that). If not, then either you're imagining things or something else in Inguz/SS/preamp is boosting the level. -- opaqueice ------------------------------------------------------------------------ opaqueice's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4234 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35884 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
