Don't know if it's similar but it has a choke and capacitors. Let me know your opinion by all means. I haven't spent any more on power conditioning, power cables etc. I am in a seriously skeptic mode at the moment, and am taking the time to re-evaluate all things hi-fi. Sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak. I am not averse to spending proper money, though, if my ears convince me it is going to improve the musical experience.
