Gary, Thanks for the information which answered my question and then some. It is nice to hear that, according to your ears, it is possible to take the advantage of a non-S/PDIF solution and turn it into a real end result. In my experience a lot of theoretical advantages in audio miss the target in implementation, but I will investigate and possibly audition (wife permitting) the SB+ since I am UK based.
