I suspect that your enjoyment of the den system is because of its distortion! Some people reckon that good hifi should be able to play any kind of music - rubbish! Some stuff is mastered so that it only sounds good if you play it loud; it needs distortion to sound right. I won't let such dross influence my system choice :) But on Ray's issue, I think that a lot of 'emotional communication' is driven by the quality of the source. I've spoken to others who have said that their Transporters are not communicating as much as they would like; is it possible to be too 'accurate'? (Borrows Ray's flame-proof suit...)
