Hi, you say the transporter increases bit depth prior to volume control? So it is digital? Right. So we've solved this one. But... How is this increase of bitdepth brought about? With 16bit I can cover a range of 0 to 65535. Then I need to map this range of numbers to volume levels between 0 noise and approx. 96db loudest. How can I increase the bit depth without just guessing details I really can know. At 24bit depth I have a range of 16 million diferent values but have to map that to the very same scale from noise to loudest output. Thanks for any explanation on that one. Also if someone could confirm that the volume control is digital. Thanks Jeronimo
