I agree. I think that room treatment gets overlooked a lot of times when considering upgrades. I've got a pair of Dynaudios (cheers Totoro) that came with me from an acoustically fantastic room in my apartment in Japan, to my current living room in San Fran that is sonically challenged to say the leat.
