Hi, Soon to be SB3/ Ipod(ipeng) owner, will be running SB through a DAC. My system is revealing enough to show differences between components etc and because I'm new to streaming music, I wonder how many of the old Hi-fi "ism's" still hold true.
I'm particularly thinking about "warming up" components* (usually CDP and Amps) to get them on song before a listening session. *(red wine can help too!) So... does this apply to the squeezebox then? Better to leave it powered on, standby, whatever? I'm not taking the question to daft levels of particularness...just if it will make a difference in the "real world".
