The Squeezebox is always on as long as it is plugged in. The Power OFF
button on the Web UI and the remote are really mislabled as they should
read Standby and ON instead of OFF and ON. Again, read that your
Squeezebox is always on unless you unplug it.
Hope that helped. BTW, my Transporter, VTL Pre-AMP, and Ayre Mono
Blocks are always on and ready to play music (which they do for 16
hours a day on average).
