Dennis: 1) one of my colleagues has a transporter - it sounds very good. 2) I was waiting until the issue of the digital loopback was resolved so I can use my TACT in the loop - I gather this is now fixed? 3) The Audiocomm-modded MF DAC sounds very, very nice (to me). 4) I'd like to do an in-home comparison, but that's tricky... IF I preferred the Transporter I could offload the MF gear on eBay (and the Altmann gear and a couple of SB3's too) and probably get back 50-60%% of the TP cost.
