nothing to do with this article. This is not CD vs Vinyl. What they
compare (as Nick points out) is media-making techniques and
reproduction machines. All the material (that you and I have at home)
is used to try to reproduce a recording situation. They are NOT the
situation itself. And neither engineers, nor consumers, nor researchers
in acoustics can help on that. Only your ears (or mine) can compare and
decide which is better. And we can still discuss what "better" means
for ages... but still, I don't see how engineers et caetera can help on
that.
